3. How we collect your personal information
Wizzdrum collects data in a variety of ways. Generally we will collect personal data directly, for example when you have contacted us or placed an order. From time to time, we may collect generally known data from publicly available sources, if we have a justification for this, such as a commercial purpose. It is also possible that someone wants to offer you a gift via Wizzdrum, which means that we will process your data.

4. Why do we collect your personal data?

General

When you want to buy something at our webshop, we need your personal data to process and deliver your order. We collect your data to process your order, to maintain and improve the website and for analytical purposes, to handle complaints, to sent an invoice and show advertisements. If it is necessary for the service in question, we can share your personal data with third parties. Moreover, we would like to know your name, email address and telephone number so that we can contact you about your order. If you contact us, we will of course also process data, so that we can respond to your message. Finally, we process data for administrative purposes.

Creating your account

We give customers the possibility to create a webshop account. After you register, we save your account details, so you can place orders more easily when your return to our webshop, and in order for us to contact you about your order. After registration, you can change your details in your online account.

Placing an order

When you place an order, we need your personal data, such as your name, email, delivery address and payment details, to process and deliver your order. We would like to keep you informed about your order. For this reason, we process your name and email, so that we can send you the order confirmation and inform you about the shipping process. Optionally, you can enter your company name and VAT number.

Shipping the order

When you place an order, we need your data to ship the order. We share this information with PostNL, the service we use to deliver your package to your home / a different shipping address. We only share your name and (delivery) address with PostNL.

Advertisements

Wizzdrum has a legitimate interest to use your data for marketing purposes, so that we can keep you informed of our new products and services.

Our website

In order to offer you the best online shopping experience and to improve our webshop, we need to use analytical and tracking cookies (“retargeting”). By using cookies and similar technologies, we can ensure that you have a great shopping experience.

You can sign up to receive our newsletter. We will use your information (email) to send you our newsletter. We ask your consent for this.

5. On which grounds is personal data being processed?
We must have a valid legal basis in order to process your personal data:

Consent. We will only use your personal data to send our newsletter, if you have given your consent.
Necessary for executing a contract. We need your personal data to process and deliver your order.
Legitimate interest. We rely on the legal basis of ‘legitimate interest’ when the processing of your personal data is necessary for our legitimate interest (for example: direct marketing or administrative purposes, or to be able to respond to questions or comments received by email or offline channels), and this does not affect someone’s fundamental rights and freedoms. Additionally, we will delete the data when the data is no longer needed for the processing purpose.
Legal obligation. We are legally obliged to keep records and to retain them for at least 7 years (the fiscal retention obligation).

6. The storage period of your personal data
Your personal data will be deleted or made anonymous when the data is no longer needed for the processing purposes as mentioned in article 4 of this privacy and cookie statement, unless there’s a statutory obligation that requires longer storage and taking into account any limitation periods. We store the data for the processing of your order for one additional year. In any case, the following retention periods shall apply:

The fiscal retention obligation of 7 years.
If you have subscribed to receive our newsletter, we will keep your data during the subscription. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.

7. Is your data given to third parties?
We may use third parties for certain services. We may share your personal data with the following parties:

Wizzdrum has signed data processing agreements with (sub) processors. If possible, we use processors established within the EEA. You should be aware of the fact that your data may be transferred and otherwise processed to a location outside of the EEA. We will only transfer your data to third parties outside of the EEA, if the third party is located in a country that’s considered “adequate” by the EC and/or if there is a Privacy Shield.

8. Safety measures
Wizzdrum uses safety measures to prevent unauthorised access of your personal data.
We take notice of new technologies and are committed to protect your personal information by implementing a variety of technical and organisational security measures. Although we do our best to ensure the security and integrity of our systems, we cannot guarantee that our safety measures will prevent (third-party) hackers from illegally obtaining your personal data, nor can we guarantee that your personal data will remain safe under all circumstances.

This website uses strictly necessary cookies that are essential for the operation of this website:

PHPSESSID preserves user session state across page requests and expires after the end of the session. The cookies woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart helps WooCommerce determine when cart contents/data changes (session). The cookie wp_woocommerce_session_ contains a unique code for each customer so that it knows where to find the cart data in the database for each customer (expires after 2 days).

Analytical cookies.

Google Analytics. This website uses ‘Google Analytics’, which is a web analytics service. By using this service, we are able to monitor the traffic on our website. Google Analytics collects first-party cookies, data related to the device/browser, IP address and on-site/app activities to measure and report statistics about user interactions on the websites and/or apps that use Google Analytics. The cookies are _ga, _gat, _gid. These cookies will be stored for a maximum period of 2 years. For more information about this, you can read the privacy statement of Google Analytics. The pixel collect is used to send data to Google Analytics about the visitor's device and behavior. Tracks the visitor across
devices and marketing channels (session).

Hotjar. The cookie _hjIncludedInSample is set to let Hotjar know whether that visitor is included in the sample which is used to generate funnels (session). The cookie _hjid is set when the customer first lands on a page with the Hotjar script. It is used to persist the Hotjar User ID, unique to that site on the browser. This ensures that behavior in subsequent visits to the same site will be attributed to the same user ID (expires after 1 year). The cookie _hjCachedUserAttributes stores User Attributes which are sent through the Hotjar Identify API, whenever the user is not in the sample. These attributes will only be saved if the user interacts with a Hotjar Feedback tool (session).

The cookie tk_ai registers data on visitors website behavior. This is used for internal analysis and website optimization (session).

Marketing cookies

We use (tracking) cookies for advertising purposes. By doing this, we can show you relevant ads and measure and use the result thereof ("retargeting"). You can always object to this form of profiling.

LinkedIn. The bcookie/bscookie is used by LinkedIn for tracking the use of embedded services (expires after 2 years). The cookie lang sets default locale/language (domein .ads.linkedin.com) and is a session cookie. The cookie lidc is used for routing and expires after 1 day. The cookie UserMatchHistory is used by LinkedIn for LinkedIn Ads ID syncing and expires after 1 month.

YouTube. The cookie GPS registers a unique ID on mobile devices to enable tracking based on geographical GPS location (session). The cookie YSC registers a unique ID to keep statistics of what videos from YouTube the user has seen (session). The cookie VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE tries to estimate the users bandwidth on pages with integrated YouTube videos and expires after 179 days. The cookie PREF registers a unique ID on mobile devices to enable tracking based on geographical GPS location and expires after 8 months. The cookie remote_sid is used with embedded YouTube videos (session).

Google. The cookie IDE (.doubleclick.net) is used by Google DoubleClick to register and report the website user's actions after viewing or clicking one of the advertiser's ads with the purpose of measuring the efficacy of an ad and to present targeted ads to the user (expires after 1 year). The cookie test_cookie is used to check if the user's browser supports cookies (expires after 1 day).

10. How do I disable cookies?
Most browsers support cookies, but you can set your browser to decline them and you can delete them whenever you like. Usually this can be done through your browser’s ‘preferences’. The ‘help’ section of your browser can guide you to the right place where you can disable the cookies. When you wish to limit, decline or delete cookies, you may not be able to use all the features of this website and your user experience could be limited.

11. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of important rights that you can exercise. We can extend the time to respond by a further two months if the request is complex or if we have received a number of requests.
